TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
FIRST REPORT TIMES: will be posted on the TNZ tournament website from Friday 16th December -: Find the link at www.tennisauckland.co.nz . If you do not check the website, the player must arrive at the tournament at 8.00am to check the draw. Scheduling times on following days will be at the discretion of the Tournament Manager.
Withdrawals: made less than 6 days before the commencement of the tournament must be supported by a Doctors or Medical certificate in order to obtain a credit for your entry fee. No refunds will be given for late withdrawals without documentation.
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: Monday 12th December 5PM. No phone entries will be accepted and no entries will be accepted verbally. If you are unsure whether your entry has been received and would like confirmation, please check the web site or phone 09 528 3925 before 5.00pm 12th December. Tennis Auckland will accept no responsibility or allow any late entries due to delays or non delivery of entries sent through the post to our PO Box address, or to our fax number. Entries may be faxed to (09) 528 3926 ONLY if credit card payment details are supplied on the entry form. Entries received without payment details will not be accepted.
Players must report to the Tournament Manager on arrival each day and must not leave without obtaining permission from the Tournament Manager. All competitors must be prepared to play or adjudicate when called upon. Failure to do so will incur automatic disqualification. Report times are indicative only and are subject to change and are not necessarily “match” times.
TENNIS NEW ZEALAND CODE OF CONDUCT and the rules of tennis approved by Tennis NZ will apply. A copy is available at each venue.
Results will be entered into TNZ Configure Rankings. Players must supply their player code on entry form. Entries will not be accepted without player code. It is the player’s responsibility to obtain a code from their interclub controller.
All match formats will be determined by the Tournament Manager subject to entry numbers. Tournament managers reserve the right to alter match format and combine age groups should circumstances require. All Competitors are to umpire their own matches.
Feed-in consolation events will be offered to all players. Depending on entries and circumstances, each player will have the option of playing a minimum of two singles matches in each age group entered.
Parental interference or sideline coaching is not permitted. Any disputes, problems, queries are to be referred to the Tournament Referee or appointed Official, whose decision is final. Please read the official information displayed.
CANCELLATIONS: There will be no cancellations.
